    The primary goal of the position is to support the Federal Team with financial related requirements. This position will report to and take day to day direction from the Director of Federal Programs. There will also be general oversight by the Director of Registration. We are looking for an individual who has integrity, tenacity, and desires to pursue excellence.

    The right individual is a self-starter who is adaptable, has excellent communication skills, can be relied on, is detailed oriented, and can work well individually or as part of a team.

    Analyze financial status of Federal programs by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions to management.
    Provide strategic direction, set priorities, and resolve day-to-day government customer financial issues.
    Draft and submit invoice requests; tracking the timeliness of invoice generation and submittal.
    Draft and submit voucher debit requests; tracking the timeliness.

    Communicate both internally and externally the status of invoicing and payment and contacting government customers and prime contractors when payment is delinquent.

    Research and resolve government customer invoicing, payment, and voucher concerns.
    Produce internal weekly and monthly financial status reports.
    Construct, populate, and deliver customer specific financial reports.
    Track total spend under each government contract and notify PM when within 20% of the ceiling.
    Track CLIN usage and student assignment.
    Participate in both internal and external weekly/monthly/quarterly calls/meetings addressing customer ceiling, spend down, forecast, invoices, payments, etc.
    Work with sales, business units, operations, accounting, and other cross-functional areas to ensure accurate financial reconciliation of government contracts.
    Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
    Collect billable hours from contract employees.
    Provide customer service support/guidance specific to voucher and registration.
    Adjust commercial list price to contracted price on registrations.
    Add products to registrations.
    Other job duties as assigned.


    Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and math skills.
    Ability to quickly comprehend complex financial concepts and effectively communicate them.
    Ability to communicate comfortably and confidently to government personnel.
    General understanding of financial reporting.
    General knowledge of Federal Government contracting and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
    High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency.


    Education/Experience Requirements:
    A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business or related field. Government Contracting and/or Financial experience may substitute for degree in unrelated field.3-5 years experience in Government Contracting and/or Finance.
    Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, macros, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred.
    SalesForce experience preferred.
    The duties of this position are primarily performed remotely. Travel may be required 1-10% of the year.

    California residents for SANS privacy notice for California job applicantsThe base salary range for this position is between $68,000and $72,000.

    Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience.

    There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
