    A large well established primary care group located in Delray Beach is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced and growing practice. Candidate will be expected to provide outstanding customer service and work well with others. Day shift only.

    • Triage, assess and room patients
    • MUST be have prior experience with phlebotomy, administering injections, performing EKGs and taking vital signs.
    • Be able to place orders for new medication and refill prescriptions via EMR.
    • Be able to obtain prescription prior authorizations (PA)-can learn this on the job
    • Be able to make referrals for patients to see other providers if necessary-can learn on the job
    • Scan and assign documents into the EMR system.
    • Make follow-up calls to patients/family members and communicate all necessary information back to the physician/provider.
    • Maintain a safe and clean environment/work space
    • Perform tasks or have minor responsibilities in the lab as demonstrated to candidate by lab manager.
    • MUST be punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, organized, able to follow directions, accept constructive criticism and correct actions where necessary and work well with others.
    • MUST have a pleasant disposition and be fluent in English-both written and spoken
