We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to fill our new opening for a Shipping Receiving Clerk.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments: Receive shipments of goods from suppliers and ensure that they match the order specifications. Uncrate shipments and help stock parts when necessary. Inspect the shipments for damage or discrepancies, and then sign for and document the receipt of the shipment.
  • Preparing outgoing shipments: Package and preparing outgoing shipments of goods to customers or other destinations. This may involve selecting the appropriate shipping method, packing the items securely, and labeling the package with the necessary information.
  • Maintaining inventory records: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and movements. This will involve using computer software to update inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and conducting periodic physical inventory counts.
  • Will need to deliver the shipments to the appropriate departments.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all shipments comply with relevant regulations and laws, such as customs regulations or hazardous materials shipping regulations.
  • Maintains a safe and organized work environment in the shipping and receiving area. This may involve keeping the area clean and free of clutter and ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.

Qualifications:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
Years experience in a shipping receiving role.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory management software.
  • Detailoriented and able to accurately track and document inventory movement.
  • Will be required to stand, lift heavy boxes, uncrate and move material for extended periods of time.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve problems that arise during the shipping and receiving process.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively.

Salary Range:


We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.

The base salary for this job $62.4K Annual Base.

Individual base salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

In addition, our benefit package includes medical and dental coverage, equity participation plan, 401(k).
