Segreto Finishes is a high-end decorative arts company seeking a Showroom Sales Associate to play a major role in providing exceptional service to our clients, while spearheading customer outreach and increasing revenue.
The Showroom Sales Associate provides expert product knowledge, selection assistance and customer service.This is a great opportunity for a motivated customer-centric individual who has a passion for sales, loves design, and who is looking to be a contributor to company direction and growth.
Front Desk/Showroom Operations
- Be a Segreto ambassador, welcoming in person walkins and callins. Be able to explain our product line and respond knowledgably to product and purchase inquiries.
- Reach out to architects, builders, and designers to set appointments at our showroom to host educational walkthroughs of our facilities.
- Follow up with potential leads to secure revenue opportunity.
- Report sales, tour, and new client metrics to Leadership Team.
- Maintain outreach database.
- Spearhead and assist with showroom events Look for creative events and avenues for new/existing clients during the workday or after hours.
- Take detailed messages, set up accounts, and follow through with the next steps.
- Pull samples for clients and assist with keeping sample libraries stocked and organized.
- Keep furnishings, lighting, art, and accessories inventoried, labeled, and priced.
- Be able to ring up all off the floor purchases and paint orders.
- Follow open and close procedures. Share in the responsibility to keep the showroom neat and clean, and opening and closing one Saturday a month for cleaning crew on a rotating basis.
- Drive sales through cross marketing, excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Be willing to go to promotional design industry events to promote Segreto.
- Manage shipping for book and paint deck sales from website and Amazon purchases.
Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills both orally and written with clients and internal colleagues. Friendly and strong commitment to customer service.
- Proven sales experience, preferably highend retail
- Proficient with various word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Basic math and accounting skills
- Be able to meet deadlines and take a proactive approach in presenting solutions. Have sound organization, time management skills and attention to detail.
- Team player who works productively with a wide range of people. Able to work independently with some direction.

Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per year
