Lab Tech/sample Control Clerk - Tempe, United States - Aquatic Consulting & Testing, Inc.

Duties include:

Wet chemistry work may include, but is not limited to: Gravimetric, titrimetric, colorimetric analyses on drinking, surface, and wastewater using EPA protocols to meet regulatory compliance.

Other technical duties will be added based on experience.

Assisting sample control with receiving samples, data entry, verification of information on Chain of Custody forms, bottle labeling, shipping packages, data entry and customer service.

General office duties include answering phones, filing, copying, and other tasks as they become available or as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
Chemistry or previous experience in the sciences or individuals with basic biology and/or chemistry principles is helpful. EPA protocol knowledge and commercial lab with metals experience would be a plus and ideal for this position. Basic organizational, computer skills, and some customer service experience required. Applicant must be reliable, punctual, and conscientious.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (maybe longer during training + some weekends based on sample load).


Salary:
Negotiable based on experience.


Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
