    Asset Management: Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and softwarePlan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software licenses to make sure they comply with vendor contractsApply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) throughout their lifecycleEnsure effective management of the CMDB and that the content contained is accurateManage a small team of asset analysts and supervise their performancePerform verification and audit of CMDB content; verify software assets with license contracts, confirm hardware assets with actual inventory, and initiate corrective actions and tract themRefine processes relating to software and hardware asset management, execute and enhance themEstablish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration managementTake part in other ITSM processes, or as required perform as a back up to maintain operational activitiesCreate and execute governance and strategic asset management functionCollaborate with infrastructure teams to determine trends in asset performancePerform research on industry best practice and incorporate it with organizational practices Asset Lease Program: Manage annual PC hardware refresh program globally to ensure that assets are returned to leasing company in a timely manner.Liaise with and maintain relationship with leasing vendor.Work closely with procurement and finance teams on lease orders. Proficient with corporate mobile device accounts (AT&T and Verizon preferred). This includes adding new lines of service, placing upgrade orders, line transfers and meeting regularly with our carriers to review data usage.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Five years or more in an IT Asset role.Strong knowledge and five years plus experience working with a CMDB and the specific business services that it supportsFive years or more ITSM tool experience, as well as ServiceNow experienceProven ability and experience in executing strategic asset management processes successfullyStrong knowledge of licensing agreements involving software, including Microsoft.Strong vendor management and negotiation skillsStrong knowledge of IT Service Management processes, as well as experience with Discovery toolPossess Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or business administration, or in other related fieldStrong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervisionExcellent at performing multiple tasks at the same time without erringExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPossess IAITAM Certification, such as CHAMP, CSAM, and CITAM.
