- Perform financial analysis of existing high yielding commercial mortgage loan portfolio on quarterly/annual basis.
- Monitor property performance and manage loan strategy; including limited travel to properties and markets to identify existing and future risks and opportunities.
- Assist with underwriting and analysis of portfolio and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor quarterly financials to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Assist with borrower negotiations, workouts, and REO equity strategies.
- Review and approval of borrowers' annual property operating budgets.
- Participate in industry courses and seminars to increase skills and knowledge.
- Develop efficient working relationships throughout the Real Estate Finance Group to identify strategic opportunities for improvement.
- Promote a positive attitude and working environment among fellow employees.
- College Degree with Major in Real Estate, Finance, or similar degree with relevant experience.
- Up to 2 years' experience in commercial real estate.
- Excellent (verbal and written) Communication skills.
- Superior analytical/problem solving/decision making skills.
- Team Player.
- Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Knowledge of CRE analytical and market research tools a strong plus (CoStar, REIS, Argus etc.).

Get to Know the Opportunity
To provide asset management and analytical support related to the high yield and distressed commercial mortgage loan portfolio. This includes bridge loans and subordinate debt which typically include a value-add strategy to be monitored and supported. The key responsibilities include monitoring and communicating property operating performance, tracking key performance indicators, performing market research and analysis, and negotiating strategic concerns at the property, loan, and platform level.

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
$60,000 to $75,000 USD
