    Position Summary:


    The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions for the corporate consolidation accounting team.

    This position reports directly to the Corporate VP Controller.


    Essential Job Functions:
    Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, general ledger, and the month end close process.

    This includes reviewing all financials and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting for income statements, balance sheets and cash account reconciliations.

    Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure team members reach their full potential.

    Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork within the accounting department and coordinating cross-functionality within the team.

    Evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and automation tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
    Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).


    Required Competencies:
    Work-related experience should consist of an in-depth background in accounting and superior supervisory skills.
    Advanced skills related to the consolidation and reporting of financial results, and formulation and implementation of accounting procedures.

    Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to provide leadership, supervision and training utilizing positive supervisory techniques to ensure maximum productivity; demonstrated ability in organization and delegation skills.

    Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence and procedures.


    Education and Experience Requested:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
    Minimum of 8 years in Accounting with sound understanding of GAAP rules and regulations.
