Job DescriptionJob Title: Field Service Engineer
LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to be partnering with an International Company who is a pioneering force in machine tool construction, offering a diverse range of high-precision machines utilized across various industries including metalworking, aerospace, medical technology, and semiconductor manufacturing. With a global presence spanning 17 production plants and over 13,000 dedicated employees, they are committed to driving innovation through technology integration, automation, and digitization solutions to enhance productivity and resource efficiency.
Key Requirements:
Location: Remote position based out of home within the Portland, OR area. Closest office located in Seattle.
Travel Requirements: Extensive travel involved, predominantly within the US but may include international travel to customer sites and training locations. Travel frequency ranges from daily to potential two-week trips. Continuous improvement training may necessitate travel to locations such as Davis, CA, Japan, and Germany, with some virtual training opportunities available.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Flexibility required as customer sites may operate on a 24/7 basis, potentially requiring early morning or late evening work.
Car Allowance: Company-provided vehicle, fuel card, and company credit card for business expenses.
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: $85,000+ (salary negotiable based on experience)
