- Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of data protection solutions experience
- 4+ years of scripting and/or automation experience
- 4+ years of Storage experience: Rubrik, Cohesity, Dell Data Domain
- 4+ years of Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- 4+ years experience with one of the following Hypervisors: VMware, Nutanix
- 4+ years experience with Databases: Backup and protection of MS-SQL, Oracle, EDB Postgres, Neo4J, MongoDB, Yugabyte.
- 4+ years of Network experience: IP subnetting and firewall rules.
- Languages: Python, bash, PowerShell and integrating with API's
- Advanced scripting skills specifically around automation
- Expert knowledge and understanding of technologies related to infrastructure engineering.
- Ability to help remediate tough technical support issues.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of team on multiple overlapping projects.
- Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization.
- Customer focused, service-oriented attitude.
- Proven skills analyzing and trouble-shooting complex systems configurations.
- Product Management and Scrum framework experience
- Jira and Confluence experience
- Experience with external key management and HSM solutions.
- Risk management and mitigation experience
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment.
