    We're Hiring an Installation Technician

    Job Description:

    Our New Teammate:

    Are you someone who enjoys tackling different challenges each day? Do you possess excellent communication and customer service skills? Are you experienced in CCTV systems, cabling, and Access Control systems? If so, we want you to be part of our team as an installation technician.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Spending 80% of your time installing physical security solutions/systems.
    • Providing support on installation projects for 10% of your time.
    • Dedicating 5% of your time to documentation and project deliverables.
    • Allocating 5% of your time to personal technical and cultural development.

    Job Responsibilities - What to Expect:

    • Assisting lead technicians with installation and maintenance of CCTV systems, access control systems, and related equipment.
    • Focusing and aiming cameras accurately.
    • Terminating and testing cabling while meeting standards and codes.
    • Learning to program and troubleshoot security devices.
    • Building out telecom closets and managing wires efficiently.
    • Reading job-related blueprints and drawings.
    • Ensuring workplace safety and providing daily feedback to the team.
    • Tracking travel time, on-site time, and breaks accurately.
    • Utilizing photos and client notes as necessary.

    Your Knowledge & Expertise:

    • High School diploma or GED.
    • Over 3 years of experience in low voltage industry and security systems.
    • Certifications in relevant technologies preferred.
    • Valid driver's license and security licenses preferred.
    • Proficiency in lock installations and network configurations.
    • Ability to operate various tools and read wiring diagrams.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills.
    • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds.
