Description

Responsibilities:

Serve as the apprentice for the first 36 months then begin running your own truck and installing and finishing structural framework such as floors, cabinets, walls, ceilings, roofs, sheetrock, beams, and columns.
Study and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to understand the specifications and dimensions of the structure.
Measure, cut, and shape materials such as lumber, plywood, and other building materials according to the specifications outlined in the blueprints.
Install doors, windows, cabinets, molding, and other wooden components securely and in a level and plumb manner.
Report any damages, repairs, or deteriorating wooden structures and components, including roofs, floors, and walls.
Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
Keep tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
12 years experience in drywall
Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
Knowledge of construction and safety regulations.
Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
Attention to detail and precision in work.
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
Valid driver's license
Heavy lifting of at least 55 lbs
Provide 3 references

Pay rate:
$20-$23 hourly
