- Working knowledge of automotive office personnel processes, including processing deals, breaking down deals, auditing deals for accuracy, and monitoring contracts in transit.
- Communicate daily with other departments to review applicable financial data & procedures.
- Your role in training and supervising other office personnel is crucial. This ensures the timely completion of assigned tasks and contributes to our team's overall efficiency. Reconcile assigned accounts.
- Manage scheduled and non-scheduled accounts.
- Produce, review, and edit journal entries.
- Assist in the completion of Internal, Factory, and External audits.
- Prepare bad debt reports.
- Assist in monthly financial statement preparation, including reviewing and analyzing critical expenses to identify problem areas and recommend expense-saving opportunities.
- Previous automotive accounting experience is required, and experience in a consolidated accounting office is preferred.
- Associate accounting degree or equivalent preferred.
- Prior Payroll experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with team members and co-workers.
- Experience working in a consolidated accounting office environment is preferred.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Possess a good driving record.
