Production Associate - Battle Creek, United States - Denso
Description
Primary Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Assembly of automotive parts
- Visual inspection
- Operate an electric airdriver
- Complete daily reports
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Run any and all aspects of the production line when necessary
- Perform all work safely, following all safety procedures
- Identify and resolve problems
- Support Kaizen (continuous improvement) activities, train new team members, take all steps necessary to meet the customer's needs
Physical and Environmental Demands:
- Repetitive lifting up to 35 pounds
- Bending
- Twisting
- Repetitive gripping with hands
- Standing for prolonged periods of time (812 hours)
- Ability to work overtime including weekend overtime
- Comfortable working in an environment with extreme temperatures and loud noises
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Solid, recent work history
- Ability to pass a handson dexterity assessment, if selected for assembly area
