- You will build and manage a diverse portfolio of individual and corporate prospects
- You will qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward donor prospects with maximum potential for major gift level philanthropy through outreach and engagement with grateful patients, corporate partners, alumni, faculty, staff and/or key business and community leaders
- You will lead corporate fundraising by identifying and pursuing corporate engagement opportunities to involve businesses in our mission
- You will collaborate with our Foundation Relations team and faculty partners from the Knight Cancer Institute and the Knight Cardiovascular Institute to drive corporate engagement

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience or familiarity with program or project management
- Experience in fundraising or business development is highly preferred
- Knowledge of OHSU, higher education, or the non-profit environment
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM system

- Occasional hours outside of normal work hours for meetings, events or programs
- Travel required – some overnight. Must have consistent access to reliable transportation

About the Position
As the Associate Director of Development at the Knight Cancer Institute, you will play a key role in advancing our mission by identifying, building, and managing a portfolio of major gift prospects and potential corporate partners. You will be collaborating closely with both faculty and Foundation partners to drive support for OHSU's core mission areas: education, research, and clinical care. You will grow and maintain a robust pipeline of support, significantly contributing to the ongoing success of both the Knight Cancer Institute and the Knight Cardiovascular Institute.

PaySalary is dependent on experience. Each salary band is broken into three "steps," which correspond with an employee's experience/tenure, proficiency and performance in that specific role. New employees will typically start at step I of our pay band to allow for later growth, although more experienced candidates may be eligible to start at step II or III. The OHSU Foundation has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity.
