ROLE of the POSITION
Reporting to the Director of Wellness & Integrative Medicine, the Assistant Director for Integrative Medicine will provide leadership and direction in the development, delivery, and evaluation of Integrative Medical education in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV MD program.
As a member of the academic affairs team, the Assistant director will ensure that the MD program's educational learning objectives are met.
The Assistant director will supervise the education team, including faculty, graduate students, and others who participate in Integrative Medicine training.
The Assistant director will participate in research, scholarship, and service.The Assistant director will be eligible for appointment as an assistant, associate, or full professor in the Department of Medical Education.
This is a non-tenure track position.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a PhD and/or M.D., from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and - 3 years of experience.
