Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse at Southern Regional Jail

Job Description:

Are you passionate about providing patient care in a correctional facility? Wexford Health Sources is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Southern Regional Jail in Beaver, WV. As a LPN, you will play a crucial role in assisting with patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.

Responsibilities:

Assist in assessing patients' physical, psychological, and social needs
Collaborate with healthcare team members on treatment programs
Implement medical plans and administer medications
Document medical encounters and communicate effectively with supervisors
Provide emotional and physical support to patients
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the environment
Support nursing care and treatment team
Assist with orientation of new employees
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

TRAVEL: None

LICENSING: Current state LPN license

CERTIFICATION: Current CPR certification

EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited nursing school

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year of clinical experience
