Director of Social Services


Duties:


  • Develop and implement social service programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the community
  • Oversee and manage a team of social workers and support staff
  • Provide leadership and guidance in the areas of behavioral health, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to coordinate services and resources
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Monitor program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and program activities

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in a leadership role within social services or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
