    Description

    Job Description

    • This work involves gathering detailed requirements for a Project Portfolio Management System.
    • We already have high-level requirements and now need a BA to review and gather further detailed project/program, portfolio, and reporting requirements for inclusion in our RFP.
    • Team size: 10 direct team members, 30 individual contributors
    • Project initiatives: Focus on streamlining and standardizing project and portfolio management by consolidating tools and implementing a new software application.
    • Applications used: Quickbase, P6, Oracle ERP, Coupa, Maximo, Microsoft Products, WinEst, DevonWay.
    • The candidate will meet with team members to gather requirements for the Project Portfolio Management System to manage projects effectively. The gathered requirements will be documented for the RFP.
    • This will involve attending project team meetings and conducting 1:1 meetings with individual contributors to update the project manager.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, management, or equivalent experience.
    • Certification: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification preferred
    • Experience: 8+ years of experience in the relevant field.
    • Top 3 Must-Haves:
      • Requirements gathering experience with IT integrations and implementations.
      • Proficiency in conflict management and requirement prioritization.
      • High proficiency in Microsoft Products and ability to communicate technical processes to non-technical audience.
    • Top 3 Nice-To-Haves:
      • Intermediate knowledge of International Institute of Business Analysis - BABOK processes.
      • Adaptability in a team environment.
      • Creativity and critical thinking skills.
