Description

LEVEL 3 Quality control needed for inspecting small tight tolerance parts. Responsibilities include 1st Article Inspection, In Process Inspection, Final Inspection and FAIR. You must have 5 years level 3 experience, be detailed oriented, self-starter and proficient at Microsoft Word and Excel as well as working with ERP Systems. Work to AS9100 standards. We are a small family-owned Aerospace machine shop that specializes is small threaded parts. We have low volume and high mix of parts.


Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience in inspecting precision machined parts in the aerospace or medical industry using Micrometer, calipers, height gauge, bore gauge, and thread gauges:

• Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T
• Proficiency in Math, geometry and trigonometry
• Familiar with AS9102 inspection reports
• Understand mill certs, heat treat certs and plating certs.
• Experience with CMM or Keyence Inspection equipment is a plus
• Selfmotivated, handson team player
• Good organizational skills
• Must be able to accurately use inspection measurement tools including Micrometers, Height gauges, calipers, bore gauge, thread gauge and pin gauges.
• Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, true positions and dimensions
