    Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

    Location: Chestertown, Maryland

    Type: Full-Time

    Job Description:

    Chestertown, Maryland, is seeking a committed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This role entails providing speech and language services to students within our local school district.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
    2. Create and implement personalized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
    3. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to support students' speech and language development.
    4. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to enhance students' academic and social progress.
    5. Monitor students' advancement and adjust therapy techniques as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
    6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records in accordance with state regulations.
    7. Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings.
    8. Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

    Qualifications:

    1. Possess a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
    2. Hold an active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Maryland.
    3. Obtain certification from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools or be eligible for certification.
    4. Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or be eligible to obtain it.
    5. Preferred experience working with students in educational settings.
    6. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
