    Chit Chat Therapy provides personalized, home and clinic-based speech and language therapy for children with speech and communication disorders such as expressive and receptive language delays, articulation deficits, apraxia of speech, auditory processing disorders, and oral motor disorders. Our professional and compassionate staff tailors each therapy plan to the individual needs of the child and their family to ensure the best possible outcomes.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist at Chit Chat Therapy's location in Springfield, IL. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with speech and language disorders, creating and implementing therapy plans, and analyzing progress to adjust treatment as necessary. The role will involve collaboration with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

    Qualifications

    • Expertise in Speech Therapy, Speech, Dysphagia, Communication Disorders, and Language Disorders
    • Experience working with children with speech and communication disorders
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
    • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
    • Licensure and certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Illinois
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
