JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITES
Processing and logging invoices, adhering to contracted procedures and accounting principles.

Resolving issues related to funding or contract effective dates.

Liaising with program offices, vendors, and financial system help desks.

Managing and certifying receipt and acceptance of goods and services.

Tackling invoice payment-related issues daily.

Handling invoice documentation and routing payment vouchers for approval.

Performing additional duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED; an associate degree preferred.

Momentum system experience is advantageous.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a steady-paced environment.

Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently.

Commitment to completing tasks within given instructions, routines, and practices.


ADDITIONAL ATTRIBUTES
Excellent communication skills.

Self-motivated and organized.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with diverse teams.

Proficient in MS Office suite.

Ability to complete projects by specific deadlines.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires standing, walking, sitting, hand use, occasional lifting, reaching, and carrying.


TRAVEL/COMMUTE
Local DC Metro travel is required. The position reports to the USPTO office in Alexandria, VA.
