The Brearley School, an independent girls' school serving over 770 students K-12, welcomes a Beavers Den Assistant reporting to the Director of Beavers Den.

The Beavers Den is an after-school program for students in the Lower School, grade K-IV, Monday through Friday until 5:45 p.m.

Description
This is a part-time position, Monday through Thursday. You must be available in the afternoon and early evening. Experience with elementary-aged children is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Set up all equipment for each day's classes
Distribute snacks when children arrive
Help take attendance for classes/help children line up when classes begin
Help supervise the children before and after their classes
Help to maintain all safety protocols and values of the school
Help children pack up when their caregiver arrives
Help children with clean up/ensure the room is left in good condition
Must be comfortable bending down and lifting 25 lbs. or more

Compensation
The compensation is $50 per hour.
