    JOB DUTIES: The Machinist I will provide reliable and timely support as follows:

    • Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines. Machine set-up. Program editing. Machine operation.
    • Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
    • Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
    • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
    • Maintains inventory does quality assurance checks and completes documents.
    • Identifies and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs. Maintains a safe and clean workstation independently and as a team player.
    • Coordinate, prioritizes job assignments, and maintains documentation. Process products based on current specifications.
    • Continuously stay up to date on manufacturing specifications, prints and job notes; write process changes when necessary to update specifications.
    • Assist in testing new products and procedures. Make sure paperwork is correct and current on all products.
    • Willingness to participate in all company departments to accomplish production orders and needs.
    • Participate in R&D and product design projects as needed.
    • Review and maintain stock levels of all required tooling (drills, inserts, etc.)

    Must be detail oriented. Drug Screen required.
