- Read and understand blueprints and drawings for accurate production
- Set up and operate a variety of CNC lathe and milling machine for production
- Monitor quality standards and specifications making adjustments as needed with little supervision
- Participate in R&D activities helping design and develop new products and procedures
- Lead projects through interpreting situations and demonstrating use of appropriate actions, tools, skills, etc.
- CNC Multi-axis and Swiss Lathe experience required
- Able to lead and mentor junior machinists
- Able to effectively liaise with other departments
- Advanced computer competency, math (geometry, trigonometry), and calculations (probability, statistics)
- Operate micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
