Position Summary:

This temporary assignment is expected to be for approximately three months, with the possibility of being extended up to six months.

Salary
This is a professional, exempt temporary position, not eligible for overtime. The expected monthly salary for this temporary position is $5,000.

Minimum Requirements:

-
Bachelor's degree in instructional design, adult education, learning science, or related discipline inclusive of instructional design principles:

Two or more years of related experience (e.g.
demonstrated experience designing and developing for various modalities and formats, including digital, virtual, classroom, blended, simulation, social/collaborative, infographics, supporting guides with prior knowledge of designing interactive learning interventions and performance support tools and creating detailed storyboards)

Skills:

Proficiency in designing courses tailored to various learning styles and preferences
Excellent organizational, communications, relationship, and project management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads and prioritize tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Preferences:

Minimum five years of recent Learning & Development experience preferred; preferably in instructional design or learning asset materials development

Essential Functions:

Utilize instructional design, adult learning principles, and innovative strategies in the conception, design, and development of learning assets
Review learning experiences against outlined training objectives, university branding standards, and other requirements
Analyze training products to see that they reflect an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners
Design and create a variety of materials utilizing desktop publishing software and AICC/SCORMcompliant authoring tools
Facilitate design and development workshops with stakeholders and project teams,
Review content developed by others and provide guidance and instructional design assistance to noninstitutional designers
Design content for multiple modes of delivery, including instructorled training and mobile learning
Develop engaging content that incorporates AIdriven personalized learning pathways, integrating microlearning modules for efficient knowledge retention and designing interactive activities that simulate realworld scenarios
