Job summary
Greet all guests at table Respond to guest inquiries regarding menu wine list Music Hall Inform guests of daily specials and make recommendations Suggestively sell menu items beverages desserts etc Anticipate and respond to guest needs Respond to guest concerns complaints regarding food or service and correct errors or resolve complaints with a friendly positive attitude Organize prioritize service per appropriate service sequence Take menu beverage bar orders from guests communicate orders to kitchen bartender through micros terminal Check food orders prior to serving ensure that they are correct properly presented special requests have been met Deliver food beverages table Perform opening running closing duties according to HOB policy Maintain line sight atmosphere control circulating work area throughout shift Have ability memorize menus daily specials Pre-bus tables remove dirty plates glasses etc once guest has finished Clean spills on tables around work area Maintain HOB safety sanitation standards Prepare guest checks on micros terminal check accuracy Receive payment process cash credit card traveler's check transactions Have knowledge music promotional special events house Assist other servers employees needed Occasionally work Special Events scheduled throughout venue
