    Description
    A reputable regional law firm with a wide range of practice areas is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Estate & Legacy Planning division. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support in matters related to estates, trusts, guardianships, probate, and litigation within this specialized area of practice.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct legal research, analyze information, and maintain accurate case files and documentation for estate planning matters.
    • Coordinate with clients, beneficiaries, court personnel, and external parties to gather necessary information and ensure effective communication.
    • Prepare legal documents, pleadings, tax filings, and court submissions in accordance with applicable rules and procedures related to estates and trusts.
    • Obtain date of death information and prepare initial drafts of probate pleadings, including petitions, inventories, and accountings.
    • Manage case calendars, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely filing of documents related to probate and estate administration.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in legal software, document management systems, and general office applications.
    • Multitask effectively, prioritize tasks, and work under time constraints.
    • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and a client-focused approach.
    • Collaborate with attorneys and team members, contributing to a positive work environment.
    Qualifications:
    • Associate's degree and a paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
    • 7+ years of legal support experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of legal principles, practices, and procedures in relevant areas of law, including probate, estates, and trusts.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in proofreading and attention to detail.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Willingness to travel locally as required for client meetings.
    • Notary Public certification preferred.
