Deck & Safety Superintendent Fleet Team (f/m/d) in Assaria, KS


At Carnival Maritime, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and innovative solutions for the two Costa Group brands, Costa Crociere and AIDA Cruises, to meet the current and future needs of the cruise industry.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Ensure timely planning and execution of all deck & safety operations for assigned ships, including maintenance, daily activities, improvements, and technical modifications.
  • Manage and be responsible for deck budgets and spare parts management for the vessels.
  • Prepare and support audits and inspections, and participate in onboard audits such as servicio di Bordo and PSSC.
  • Follow up on findings and document them in the Global HESS-MS platform, in coordination with Cruise Governance/Audit Management.
  • Participate in regular HESS/Safety meetings with HESS SI Environment, HESS SI USPH, Nautical & Safety SI, under the guidance of the Head of Safety and/or DPA.

Your Profile:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in shipboard operations, preferably in the maritime sector.
  • Must have an IMO license.
  • Junior leadership experience.
  • Safetyoriented and cooperative attitude.
  • Excellent command of the English language and proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
