    The Workforce Solutions team is responsible for building and delivering exceptional products and services for Amazon's hourly associates, numbering close to 1 million globally. We strongly believe that happy Amazon customers start with content and satisfied Amazon employees.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Drive the development of frontend applications and workflows to offer Amazon's hourly associates choices for pay, training, and career development
    • Create the most extensive pay premium, job training, and career mobility options available
    • Utilize modern technologies to solve large-scale complex issues
    • Provide scalable solutions that can handle varying workflows and country-specific regulations
    • Develop user-facing applications using proven technologies like React Native, Typescript, Stencil, Webpack, and other evolving native AWS services to ensure a seamless user experience
    • Address the challenge of scaling services to cater to hundreds of thousands of Amazonians worldwide in real-time
    • Innovate technically and challenge the status quo
    • Execute project plans and meet delivery commitments
    • Build highly responsive and optimized applications to deliver intuitive and sleek customer experiences
    • Solve intricate business and technical problems through in-depth analysis, data-driven decision-making, and sound judgement

    A Day in the Life:

    Engineers participate in daily standup meetings, sharing progress and challenges. Collaboration and mutual assistance are key values in our team. Your day will involve coding, group activities, brainstorming sessions, technical reviews, and continuous learning.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


    • 2+ years of professional frontend web or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
    • 1+ years of computer science fundamentals experience
    • Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


    • 1+ years of agile software development experience
    • Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
