- Plan and create purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of materials and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet inventory goals.
- Analyze sales order releases and coordinate with manufacturing personnel to ensure capacity planning and material requirements are met.
- Manage inventory levels, schedules, and availability of selected items to support production schedules, conducting regular reviews and adjustments as needed.
- Interface with various departments including manufacturing, purchasing, and supervisors to address materials status and production planning issues.
- Conduct inventory-related tasks such as receiving, BOM adjustments, and semi-annual inventories, while reinforcing proper inventory practices and overseeing incoming inspections.
- Support cost-saving initiatives, supplier rationalization, and shipping management duties, including tracking incoming international shipments and managing Kanban systems.
- Bachelors in Business Administration desired.
- APICS Certification a plus.
- A minimum of two years of Buyer/Planner and warehouse inventory management experience.
- Proficiency in MRP systems and applications, coupled with strong familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong systems/process orientation, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and project management abilities, demonstrating a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking a Buyer / Planner for a Direct Hire opportunity. This role is based in the Unionville, NC area. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, purchase order processing, MRO purchasing, cost savings and assisting in the RMA process.Responsibilities:
Experience and Skills:
Compensation: $56,000 - $64,000
Depending on the specific client, location, and role benefit may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
Pay Details: $56,000.00 to $64,000.00 per year
