Job Description

Amanufacturing company isseekingCNCDrill Operators who will be responsible for handling, loading, and machining heavy production and/or fixturing materials to customer or in-house requirementsand perform regular preventative maintenance and occasional repair on facility machinery. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Machine heavy production and/or fixturing materials to print requirements
Move heavy materials and tooling using forklifts, overhead cranes, lifting chains/slings, etc. handling, loading, and machining heavy production and/or fixturing materials to customer or in-house requirements
Select and properly use a wide variety of tooling including drills, reamers, taps, boring heads, spindle supports to manufacture to print tolerances.
Select or modify cutting parameters to suit various applications including different materials, interrupted cuts, tooling or work piece situations prone to vibrationor chatter
Perform preventative maintenance and repair, assist in troubleshooting and repairing machinery, and edit programs on CNC controls as necessary
Complete daily maintenance and repair and maintain action logs
Communicate with operators from other shifts
Maintain and secure work tools and clean work area
Provide on-the-job training to new employees when necessary
Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have a working knowledge of CNC Machine Codes
Must have experience using one or more of the following manual or CNC tools: lathe, milling machine, drill press, and vertical/horizontal cut off saw
Must have previously worked with G&M Codes and performed program editing
Must know how to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Manual dexterity ir required for operating machinery and computers
Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
