They truly believe that the remodeling industry can be better than it is now. We're looking for someone who gets it. Someone who understands that it's much more than providing just a remodeling project it's really about delivering a totally different experience. One that customers remember and talk about fondly for a very long time.


Requirements/Skills

  • Degree in architecture or other construction related field is required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential design build.
  • Knowledge of bathroom, basement and kitchen remodeling.
  • Knowledge of construction.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in estimating projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for all phases of the project.
  • Manage the Budget according to the Construction Contract and Gross Profit targets as stipulated by the Contract's supervising signing authority.
  • Build schedule according to the Construction Contract and includes details on payment dates, order of construction, resource allocation, procurement, critical decision dates, updated project progress, and key project meetings.
  • Conduct revisions and obtain final signoff by all Stakeholders regarding Scope development.
  • Manage Project Scope through the Change Order (CO) and Request for Information (RFI) processes to avoid scope creep.
  • Obtain approval from the proper signing authority for all invoices.
  • Manage project resources, such as inhouse labor and Subcontractors to ensure contractual obligations related to the Schedule and Budget are achieved.
  • Conduct revisions and obtain final signoff by all clients regarding Estimate development.
  • Use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System and proper document control processes to manage Communication.
  • Sell projects, negotiate and build estimates for the client.
  • Plan and develop project ideas with the client.
  • Estimate costs by looking at the entire project, present cost estimates to upper management.
  • Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project.
  • Upload files, schedules and daily logins to the company's database. Updates schedule when needed.
  • Arrange material orders, quantities.
  • Manage project schedule throughout the course of design and/or construction process and develop schedule to assure desired project completion dates are met.
  • Lead and supervise the team to complete projects. Able to suggest trustworthy contractors.
  • Make regular visits to oversee projects and maintain constant communication with the client.
  • Exceeds customer expectations on assigned projects.
  • Solve issues that arise to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of local and national building codes, and DMV permitting process.
  • Strong ability to build relationships (internal and external), effectively communicate and positively influence direct reports, coworkers and clients.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities; experienced and creative problem solver.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; demonstrated track record for flexibility along with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong capability to communicate with clients and peers.
