The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Building and Grounds Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry.

Located at Urbana Auto Park, the Building and Grounds Assistant is responsible for providing building and grounds maintenance to the dealership.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is affiliated with over 25 brands of new vehicles and 50+ dealerships throughout seven states.

Job Responsibilities:

Lawn mowing and trimming
Snow removal and salting
Basic HVAC, plumbing, building and electrical maintenance
Evaluating and diagnosing needs, as well as recommendations on potential solutions.
Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
The ability to function as part of a team and follow through on projects is necessary.
Work in a safe manner, provide superior customer service, and positively contribute to overall tenant satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and HVAC.
High School Diploma, Trade Certification, or equivalent experience.
Ability to handle heavy lifting (more than 50 lbs.) as required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to be flexible with work hours and assignments.
Some weekend work will be required.
Valid IL Driver's License required.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
