Packer

Job purpose


The purpose of the Packer position is to ensure that all parts finished by the Trimming department are cleaned and used to accurately configure purchased products, slides/tunnels/etc in boxes ready for shipment within scheduled time of arrival.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions as assigned by Leadership and/or designee to do assigned job related tasks.
  • Knowledge of job role, duties, responsibilities and ensures daily production paperwork is completed.
  • Ensures quality standards are met by differentiating between acceptable and poor product and reducing quality errors.
  • Knowledge of all parts used for assembly of our products and the hardware they use.
  • Cleaning our parts with tools and the cleaner provided.
  • Properly assorting boxes with parts used for purchased product and box labeling.
  • Ability to operate sit down forklift to stack boxes among themselves.
  • Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the production/warehouse area.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or his/her designee.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Job knowledge of all aspects related to parts and hardware used to assemble our products in the Packing department.

This includes but is not limited to:
Entries, 90's, Bubbles, Clear parts, etc.

Working conditions


Plant duties will be performed both outside and in an indoor warehouse environment without air conditioning and with mínimal heating.
