As a Junior Buyer, you will perform various activities in the product life cycle that will ensure the long-term profitable growth of our OEM offering.
You will play a key role within the Distribution Solutions NAM Business Line Portfolio Management team to drive our OEM business.
Additionally, you will support the Medium Voltage Metal-clad Switchgear Product Manager in key activities for maintaining that product line.Your responsibilities
:
- Define the ANSI MV AIS offering for OEMs
- Construct the business case and define the NPI program for the OEM offerings
- Ensure proper product positioning and pricing strategy
- Define customer value proposition while delivering clear positioning within the portfolio and against competitor offerings
- Collaboration with internal teams (i.e., Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Research & Development and Supply Chain) to ensure all product and market objectives are met
- Development of product trainings for internal/technical teams
- Ensure correctness and comprehensiveness of relevant product documentation
- Provide technical support to customers or other internal functions for the OEM offering
- Support the development, preparation, and maintenance of the sales configurator for the OEM offering
- Support the Metalclad Switchgear Product Manager in executing periodic cost update process and maintenance activities for the Empower sales configurator
- Support activities for ensuring product line cost accuracy in our internal systems such as SAP and Empower for the full MV ANSI portfolio
Your background
:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent area of studies
- Over 2 years of experience in an industrial environment in an engineering, R&D, product marketing, sales, or product management role
- Basic knowledge of power distribution products, in particular, medium voltage switchgear and motor control
- A collaborative, solutionsoriented approach with strong communication and customer relationshipbuilding skills
- Selfmotivated and purposeful with analytical, logical, problemsolving, and organizational skills, combined with an excellent style of collaboration
- Assertiveness and ability to work in a virtual team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% including internationally
