    We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) with expertise in Operations Risk Products and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

    The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen, business analysis skills, and domain knowledge in operations risk management.

    As a Senior BA, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the operations risk domain.

    Responsibilities :
    Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to operations risk products, processes, and systems.
    Utilize domain knowledge in operations risk to provide insights and recommendations for improving existing products and processes.

    Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.

    Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
    Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and process flows.

    Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to prioritize and track the progress of deliverables.

    Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, providing clarification and guidance on requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

    Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments to identify potential issues and mitigate project risks.

    Support user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts by collaborating with QA teams and business users to ensure that delivered solutions meet acceptance criteria.

    Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.


    Requirements :
    Bachelor s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

    Proven experience (12+ years) as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on operations risk management.

    In-depth knowledge of operations risk products and processes, including but not limited to fraud detection, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
    Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments, preferably as a Product Owner or Scrum Master.
    Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems, perform root cause analysis, and make data-driven decisions.
    Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirements management.
    Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
    Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is a plus.
    Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams is desirable.
