    //protect-TRC is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated

    Project Engineer

    to support our commercial and industrial energy program implementation within our client's service territory. Projects and responsibilities may include energy engineering analyses, project QA/QC, on-site inspections, energy modeling and customer meetings.

    Eligible candidates will be a hands-on, highly skilled resource and possess strong technical capabilities including knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency, green building and sustainability.

    Background and/or degrees in mechanical, electrical or energy engineering, sustainability and/or energy efficiency is preferred. Seeking talent for Nashville area, but also open to candidates working remotely in AL,

    MS, KY - TN with

    quarterly

    trips to Nashville, TN.

    Responsibilities


    Job Duties:
    Conduct on-site inspections to verify installation of energy projects are consistent with designs and scopes of work
    Work with senior engineers to draft and implement Measurement and - Verification Plans, including field instrumentation and meter deployment
    Perform energy audits for commercial and industrial customers to determine potential energy efficiency improvements.
    Conduct energy analysis and whole building modeling (simulations)
    Identify operations and maintenance energy savings opportunities in buildings
    Deliver high quality reports requiring minimal quality control efforts
    Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines and client expectations
    Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and contractors to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed the customer's expectations

    Qualifications

    Engineering experience:
    Entry to Junior Level
    Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy or other related Engineering Degree
    Experience with energy modeling software a plus
    Aptitude for communicating (written and oral) technical and program concepts to clients, contractors, consumers, and other interested people or organizations
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management and organizational skills

    Excellent computer skills:
    proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technologies
    Valid driver's license; position entails travel
    Legal ability to work in the U.S.
