Penske Automotive Group is a Fortune 200 international transportation services company that operates automotive and commercial truck dealerships principally in the United States and Western Europe, and distributes commercial vehicles, diesel engines, gas engines, power systems and related parts and services principally in Australia and New Zealand. We have created a best-in-class IT environment to support our business needs. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Security Analyst to join our Information Security department. This role will be located at our corporate headquarters office in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and is not a remote opportunity. In this position, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our IT environment, responding to threats, and driving continuous improvement in our security posture.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Threat Detection and Response: Leverage advanced security tools (SIEM, EDR, etc.) to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents with precision and urgency.
Vulnerability Management: Lead the charge in proactively identifying, assessing, and remediating vulnerabilities across our systems and applications, keeping us one step ahead of attackers.
Security Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on security best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and emerging threat trends.
Compliance Champion: Ensure adherence to critical industry regulations and frameworks, including PCI DSS and SOX, while contributing to the development and maintenance of our security policies and procedures.
Security Awareness Advocate: Promote a culture of security awareness through engaging training programs and initiatives, empowering employees to be our first line of defense.

Requirements:

Technical Prowess: Demonstrable experience with a wide range of security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, email security, CASB, IAM, endpoint protection, and incident response tools.
Compliance Acumen: In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and frameworks (PCI DSS, SOX, ISO 2700x, ITIL, COBIT).
Risk Management Expertise: Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, developing effective treatment strategies.
Cloud Security Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud security concepts and best practices for securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Threat Intelligence: Actively researching and analyzing emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker techniques.

Qualifications:

BS/BA in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
2 - 4+ years of information security experience, with a strong preference for Big Four or equivalent consulting background.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
