The House Supervisor is responsible for assisting administration, coordination, and management/monitoring of client care. Direct and supervise all facility staff assigned to the community. The House Supervisor is responsible for the Community operations and care of the community.
Report to the RSM


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Caregivers and Supervisor staff

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Cover floor shifts when needed, the first point of contact for Weekend and holiday coverage.
  • Main point of contact for questions/concerns of employees.
  • On call as needed after scheduled working hours, coordinate with other House Supervisors if unable to be available for oncall issues.
  • Be available for facetoface interviews
  • Floor training of all new employees
  • In charge of training attestations as applicable and required
  • Weekly census
  • Assisting with IR's
  • Oversee the payroll process and verification as requested/required/trained by management and the payroll department.
  • Meticulous verification, execution, storage, and oversight of the home's schedules.
  • Verification on hours scheduled for caregiver staff vs required care hours.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong customer service orientation with employees and members.
  • Previous work experience as a Caregiver and Supervisor with Browns Living.
  • Ability to manage a team of employees with encouragement and leadership.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and work autonomously when needed.
  • Ability to handle highstress and sometimes unpredictable work environments.
  • Ability to finish and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work within ShareFile, Microsoft, and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand Browns Living policies/procedures/culture and mission statement, and ability to instill these values and principles within the home.
  • Other duties and tasks as required by the Management team.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 18 years of age
  • One to two years of related Browns Living experience required, or equivalent with an exceptional approval from the Leadership team.
  • Must be C.N.A, M.A. or CBRF certified.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, leaning, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds at times, with assistance.
  • Must be able to wear a mask for the entirety of a shift, and full PPE at times, if applicable.
  • Must be willing to submit to a PCR or Rapid Covid19 test, if required.
  • Must be able to work with cleaning agents, as required.
**$350 after 30-days of employment & $150 after 90-days of employment

From $17.50 per hour
