Position Summary:


At NHOMS & MassOMS, our Practice Managers play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, providing crucial support to the front desk team.

We're looking for someone with solid management experience, preferably in a medical setting, and a strong dedication to leading their team to success.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Provide clear direction and guidance to the front desk team, addressing local office staff matters, and fostering a culture of motivation and success.
  • Act as a backup for the front desk, ensuring continuity and efficiency in daily operations.
  • Conduct patient chart audits and implement necessary corrections to maintain accurate and uptodate records.
  • Ensure comprehensive training for new front desk staff, facilitating their seamless integration into the team.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for current staff, offering constructive feedback and opportunities for development.
  • Provide direct support to the surgeon in daily nonclinical operations, including patient satisfaction initiatives, nonclinical team selection, development, and other essential businessrelated functions.
  • Efficiently manage scheduling for both clinical and nonclinical team members, optimizing resource allocation and workflow.
  • Assist patients with checkin and checkout procedures, manage telephone calls, and address inquiries.
  • Effectively communicate with referring practices, patients, and teammates.
  • Schedule appointments for the practice to optimize patient satisfaction, surgeon time, and the most effective use of treatment rooms.
  • Treatment planning and benefits verification.
  • Create, access, and verify patient records in WinOMS, retrieve patient files, prepare flow charts, and place charts in sequence for surgeon examination.
  • Collaborate with all teammates and organizational levels, including Marketing, Human Resources, Call Center & Billing teams.
  • Perform closing procedures at the end of the day, including depositing cash and checks.

Requirements:


Required Skills & Abilities:


  • Proven track record of successful management experience in a medical office setting.
  • Excellent phone and inperson communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, doctors, and assistants.
  • Strong organizational skills, adept at time management, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detailoriented approach to communication, ensuring clear and organized interactions between patients, doctors, and assistants.
  • Availability for fulltime work from Monday to Friday, demonstrating commitment and consistency in meeting the demands of the role.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 2 years of proven management experience in a medical office setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent years of experience can be considered as a substitution.
  • Must have experience working with an electronic charting system, showcasing proficiency in managing digital records and systems; familiarity with WinOMS or Open Dental preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:


  • Pay
:

$30.00-$36.00 per hour.
