- Manage the performance, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction of assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer requests and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule using MS Project.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal customers. Support the Senior Project Manager in building trust with customers through effective communication, providing regular updates, and addressing issues promptly.
- Identify, manage, and communicate risks and opportunities within projects to enhance profitability. Collaborate with teams to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities for improved project outcomes.
- Understand customer requirements, manage changes in project scope, prepare change requests, and negotiate with customers to finalize changes, ensuring alignment with the contract and creating value for all stakeholders.

- Coordinate and monitor project activities.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Prepare reports and presentations for project updates.
- Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- BS in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing Technology, Electro-mechanical), Construction Management, or Business with a focus on Project Management.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in project management, scheduling, or Manufacturing Engineering, including managing internal projects if transitioning from a Manufacturing Engineering role.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills, ability to simplify complex issues, and facilitate solutions.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints/CAD models and basic GD&T principles.
- Understanding of P&L statements, cash management principles applied to projects, and strong Excel skills for analysis.
- Effective negotiation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office platforms.
- Understanding of contract basics and compliance matrices.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Must meet Export Control Compliance requirements.
- Frequent walking and standing, lifting up to 10 lbs, sometimes up to 35 lbs, and normal sensory and physical capabilities.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Project Manager 1 (PM 1) role serves as the entry point for Project Management. As a PM 1, you will oversee a portfolio of Tooling and Equipment projects aimed at constructing various types of aircraft (such as airplanes, helicopters, and rockets) for leading aircraft OEMs and their sub-tier suppliers. Your responsibilities will include managing the design, construction, and installation of Tooling and Equipment, encompassing mold tooling for fabricating composite parts, assembly jigs & fixtures, work platforms, automation tools, and even contributing to the design and construction of full assembly lines for aircraft. Working closely with senior project managers, you will ensure timely and within-budget project completion, maintain effective communication with stakeholders, manage project risks, and ensure accurate project documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance and Program Access.
Due to security requirements, U.S. citizenship is necessary. Candidates with active security clearance are preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
May need to travel to local locations during the workday, with possible overnight stays and out-of-area travel paid by the company for customer and vendor visits.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Stationary work at a computer workstation for extended periods, occasional movement within the office, potential work in the manufacturing plant requiring personal protective equipment, exposure to various environmental factors, and occasional overtime or weekend work may be needed.
