Heavy Equipment Operator - Excavator/Loader
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner to prepare materials for crushing
- Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Operate other equipment and labor and needed
- Comply with OSHA and MSHA standards
Qualification/requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience operating heavy equipment in truck yard environment
- Experience filling dump trucks and recycling facility equipment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders to work in overhead positions requiring harness and safety line
- Mechanical aptitude to use tools for repairs and maintenance
- Able to act as backup for location in Harleysville, _a plus_
- Must be age 21 or older and have valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Team player and able to work independently in a resultsdriven, fastpaced environment
- Available to be on call for Emergencies on the weekend and flexible to work overtime as required
Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a physical, drug and alcohol screen, and background checks, as required by the position.
Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour
