What we do:


The Head of Asset Management & Workplace Services is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Supernal's facilities operations, including buildings, grounds, and physical infrastructure.

Their primary role is to ensure that facilities are safe, well-maintained, and meet the needs of the organization and its employees.

This role will lead a team of facilities management professionals and external contractors and will work closely with stakeholders and business leaders to enable delivery of vehicle programs.

Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.


What you can do:

Facilities Management:


  • Manage the maintenance, repair, and renovation of buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Budgeting and Cost Control:


  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring that expenses are within budgetary constraints.

Strategic Planning:


  • Develop and implement longterm facilities plans to meet the organization's needs.

Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes related to facilities management, including all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.

Vendor Management:


  • Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring quality of service.

Security and Safety:


  • Implement and maintain security and safety measures to protect the facilities and their occupants.

Environmental Sustainability:


  • Develop and implement strategies to promote environmental sustainability in facilities operations.

Team Management:


  • Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities meet the needs of the organization.

Reporting:


  • Provide regular reports to senior leaders on the status of facilities operations and any issues that may arise.
  • Domestic travel up to 25%
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you can contribute:


  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field is required. Master's degree or professional certification in facilities management is a preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field is required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team, and overseeing facilities operations required.
  • Proven experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial management.

  • Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement effective strategies.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes related to facilities management, such as OSHA regulations and building codes, is often required.
  • Proactive delivery of communication and followup.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Executive presence needed to effectively interact with global investors
