Position Summary:


Responsible for ensuring that all products meet standards for quality and accuracy by conducting inspections and nondestructive tests throughout the production process.

Working closely with production teams and management, the Quality Control Inspector will identify and report any issues that arise.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct quality control inspections and nondestructive tests on all products throughout the production process to ensure they meet the required standards, such as welding and inspection procedures, sandblasting and painting, hydro testing, etc.
  • Document and communicate any nonconformances to production teams and management and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct final inspections of finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve any qualityrelated issues that arise during the production process.
  • Ensure that production teams adhere to quality control procedures and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and certification of quality control inspections and tests.
  • Assist manufacturing shop personnel to interpret norms and regulation by applicable standards.

Skills, Qualifications, Certifications, Licenses, Training:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality control or inspection role in a manufacturing environment is necessary.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify nonconformances are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams and management are required.
  • The ability to use measuring tools and equipment to conduct inspections and tests is necessary.
  • Familiarity with quality control software and computer skills are desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment is important.

Work Environment

  • Work is generally not performed within an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually mild in office and moderate in the manufacturing shop area.
