Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a
Logistician to join our team


This position will be in person in
Chantilly, VA and will support the SIGINT Technology Center's (STC)
Diadem and Alchemy teams.

The STC is where technology and teamwork come together to meet the unique needs of the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.

The STC is comprised of multiple mission-focused programs with projects ranging from Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) SIGINT payload and data link development to OCONUS/CONUS mission/maintenance support.

STC tasks include system design, engineering development, system integration, hands-on assembly and testing, operations and maintenance, training, and production.


This role will need to coordinate regularly with Program Management, the Engineering team, Engineering and Science (E&S) Management, Customers, Subcontractors, Global Supply Chain (GSC), Configuration Management (CM) Analysts, and other support functions to ensure all the logístical program needs are met within the STC.


  • SharePoint Administration and Entries
  • Oversee and implement each program's SharePoint database
  • Includes data entry, building out backend processes, custom visualization instances, exporting data for customer delivery, etc.
  • Oversees users' permissions, creating lists, managing workflows, and overseeing program calendars
  • Hardware and Material Tracking
  • Oversees the tracking of all hardware and material owned by the programs, the STC, and NG.


  • Asset Management

  • System Equipment LRUs Tracking, Infrastructure Equipment, Test Equipment, Capital Equipment Processing, Physical Inventories


  • Inventory Management

  • System Material Tracking/Inventory, Physical Inventories at both NG sites as well at customer sites (coordinating with customer local representatives)
  • Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Tracking
  • Reporting all changes in SharePoint as appropriate.
  • Maintenance and Repairs Tracking
  • Failure Tracking/Analysis
  • Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) Tracking/Analysis
  • Spares Tracking/Analysis
  • Reporting all changes in SharePoint as appropriate.
  • Shipments
  • Works with Shipping and Receiving personnel (NG, vendors, and customers) to coordinate all shipments required; both inbound and outbound.
  • Ensures shipments are properly packaged and the correct paperwork is submitted to the customer as required.
  • Ensures equipment is properly stored at our facility after being received
  • Reporting all changes in SharePoint as appropriate.
  • Procurement:
  • Follow all NG and STC standards for purchasing items for programs.
  • Work closely with Programs and GSC to ensure proper parts are ordered and arrive by the required need dates.
  • Execute program RMA for any failures or repairs.
  • Reporting all changes in SharePoint as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University OR 1+ years of experience with a Master's Degree from an accredited University OR 7+ years of experience in a relevant field
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Detail oriented and able to follow processes.
  • Experience in the Logistician field which includes working with US Government supply chain processes and shipping Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in accordance with U.S. government import / export requirements.
  • Ability and willing to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite).
  • Must be able to work during specified core work hours
  • Must be able to move and position objects weighing 3050 lb.

  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with Jira or other Agile Process Methodologies
