    Description

    Job Purpose:

    CBTS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of various components of Microsoft cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Intune, O365, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint environments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy innovative solutions that align with business requirements.

    Essential Functions:

    · Design and implement Microsoft cloud solutions, specifically focusing on Intune, O365, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, Teams and SharePoint cloud solutions to meet the client's business needs and technical requirements.

    · Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, including user provisioning, mfa, various levels of access control, and security policies.

    · Architect and optimize Microsoft Exchange Online and SharePoint Online solutions, including compliance, data protection and eDiscovery components.

    · Facilitate the deployment of applications, policies and configurations through Intune.

    · Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender.

    · Understanding of CIS benchmarks.

    · Experience with migrations between tenants or on-premises to cloud.

    · Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with Azure services.

    · Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring efficient resource utilization and optimal system performance.

    · Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure/O365 based systems.

    · Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Microsoft cloud technologies, Intune, O365, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint.

    · Maintain detailed documentation of Microsoft 365 configurations and processes.

    · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Education: Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

    Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:

    · Recent Microsoft certifications

    Relevant Work Experience:

    8 to 10 years in related field

    Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    · Proven experience working as a Cloud Engineer or Cloud Solutions Architect.

    · In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, infrastructure components, and networking concepts.

    · Experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud architectures.

    · Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell.

    · Migration experience with AvePoint or Quest tools.

    · Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls in O365 and Azure.

    · Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

    · Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

    · Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    · Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Administrator or Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert are a plus
