    This job of General Manager is the senior operational leader responsible for end‑to‑end execution of the business across service, shop floor production, engineering, supply chain, and shipping & receiving. This role owns safety, experience, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement, ensuring customer commitments are met while driving operational excellence through disciplined execution and Lean practices.

    This leader is hands‑on, action‑oriented, and accountable—someone who moves the organization from plans to results, and from reactive problem‑solving to repeatable, scalable processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accountable for day‑to‑day operational execution and results. This role partners closely with the CFO/COO on strategy, financial targets, and growth decisions, with clear alignment on metrics, priorities, and escalation paths.
    • Own end‑to‑end process flow from order intake through production, shipment, and customer delivery.
    • Ensure customer commitments related to quality, delivery, and responsiveness are consistently met or exceeded.
    • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly operating rhythms to ensure execution against plan.
    • Partner closely with Finance to manage operating performance, cost structure, labor efficiency and margin drivers.
    • Lead cross‑functional alignment and decision‑making across the full quote‑to‑cash process, in collaboration with all functional leads (including Service, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Shipping & Receiving).
    • Foster a safety‑first culture where hazards are proactively identified and mitigated, and workplace safety standards are adhered to in accordance with company standards.
    • Lead and execute Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including waste reduction, flow improvements, and standard work.
    • Drive measurable improvements in throughput, lead time, cost, and productivity.
    • Champion a culture of problem‑solving, root cause analysis, and data‑driven decision making.
    • Ensure improvements are sustained through discipline, metrics, and leader standard work.
    • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability across all operational functions.
    • Monitor performance trends and take timely corrective action when results deviate from plan.
    • Develop and coach leaders to drive execution, ownership, and continuous improvement within their teams.
    • Build bench strength and leadership capability across the organization.
    • Serve as the senior operational point of contact for customer delivery, performance, and escalation issues.
    • Partner with SMEs, quality, and leadership teams to align operational priorities with customer and business needs.
    • Ensure operational readiness to support growth, new programs, and increased complexity.
    • All other duties assigned by management.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 12+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with direct accountability for multiple functions and teams.
    • Proven leadership experience overseeing production/shop floor, engineering, supply chain, and logistics in an integrated environment.
    • Demonstrated success leading Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, capacity planning, and end‑to‑end process optimization.
    • Experience in regulated or high‑reliability manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field required, advanced degree a plus.

    • Strong communication skills.
    • Expertise or accreditation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques (i.e. RCCA, Six Sigma methodology), a plus
    • Direct experience implementing or leading in an environment governed by ISO-9001, AS9100
    • Experience in hands‑on use of a ERP system, preferably Epicor Kinetic
