Security Officer, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

United Health Services is seeking a Security Officer to join our Security 03 department at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY.

This position is benefits eligible.

Shift

Day Rotational

Hours per week:
36

Salary range:
$ $23.45 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

Performs a variety of security and safety related functions while involved in the safeguarding of employees, patients, visitors, physicians and property.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent
One year experience in a customer service related field (Visitor Management position, only)

Preferred:

One year experience in a Security related field, preferred (Visitor Management and Security Officer positions)

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation
Must meet requirements of New York State Security Guard Licensing program
